This collaboration was between SVRN, a multi-brand luxury retailer in Chicago and the textile company KVADRAT/Raf Simons. The purpose of this activation was to bring both SVRN and KVADRAT’s brand presence to Mexico City during Design Week 2022, one of the most lively, bustling events of the year. Neither entities previously had an audience in Mexico City. so this was the perfect way to introduce them to a new consumer base.

The main attractions of this collaboration were handmade sculptures referencing ancient Mexican artifacts made by Chicago based design studio, Julian David, who shares familial ties to Mexico City. We were able to use KVADRAT/RAF SIMONS fabrics on these sculptures to reference the oxidized lion sculpture in ‘The Arch of the Causeway of the Heroes’ in Leon. Additionally, we hosted a commemorative dinner at Rosetta to celebrate our collaboration, inviting key artists and creative figures from Mexico City.

I partnered with a Mexico City based PR Firm and provided them a press release which landed us placements in Vogue, Elle, and more.
